Meet The Artist
With the heart and soul of an artist, my drawing talents surfaced as a very young child as I explored through abstract media with crayon and exhibits on the living room wall. My parents, suspecting I had the talents of Jackson Pollock or perhaps Monet, encouraged me to remain focused on the arts. While studying in France, the picturesque gardens were a source of inspiration that remain to this day as I continue to paint gardens in the USA, particularly the beautiful Bellingrath in Mobile, Alabama, my residence.
Throughout my career, I have enjoyed many outdoor hours reveling in such sights as our sunsets overlooking Mobile Bay and landscapes at any given season. Each one is rich with its own treasures and is very special to me. These venues challenge me to capture a palette of color as the seasons unfold through my favorite medium which is oil on linen canvas.
While in New York attending the Art Expo, the Big Apple afforded many opportunities to develop my skills. It is my greatest desire to have a One Women Show in New York. Although it has been an arduous task to arrive at this point, the journey has been replete with rewards. Monetary compensation has been complementary and satisfying, but recognition of talent is the ultimate reward. For me, painting is a language which allows me to speak...Welcome to my gallery!
